I was wondering, how secure are T/T payments? I have found a supplier that accepts T/T payments from Bank Of America. I have never went throught a T/T so I wanted to ask you guys for your feedback.

Depends on what you are buying and from whom.
If this is a supplier that is in China, India, etc,…DO NOT BUY.

If it is a local supplier that you know or was referred by a friend then I would not worry so much.

If this is someone you DO NOT KNOW and have never heard of and you cannot verify any of their info then I would not use a wire transfer. It is way too risky.

This is a wholesaler I found from Alibaba.com. They have a TrustPass profile and they are SquareTrade and D&B verified. I dont know if this can still be a scam if they are verified members on alibaba.com, D&B, and SquareTrade. What do you think?

The majority of those that use ALIBABA are scammers.
Before wiring any money I would ask around and look around for info on the company. It is too easy to get burnt.

I did some research on the company, and I found them on several import/export sites. They also had all the same information such as contact, address, and contact name. So I hope this is a legit company.

T/T is not secured type of payment. You do not have any sort of protection, if the seller does not supply or violate the sales agreement.

For example, My Web Wholesaler are only accepting T/T for electronic purchase so they can scam you and run away with your money.

The best way is to make your purchase with a credit card, you are in control.
